Story:
The main character, Hitomi Sakuragawa, was once a cute, beautiful girl, winning beauty contests in childhood. However, after losing to the temptation of junk food received from fans, she has steadily gained weight… until she reached 100 kg in her second year of high school.
At the beginning of the school year, the main character and her brother move into her father’s mansion-like dorm. Surprise awaits as she discovers that the school’s most popular guys are also moving in. Their impressions on her shock her into starting a diet.

this guy i swear is such a bumbum head he is the hottest in school ranked n0. 1, a third year, he’s rich, smart, handsome and likes to make fat jokes about hitomi. A perfectionist with a cool attitude, he has blond hair at medium length and normally stands at the front of the No.5 best of the school. It is said that because of his handsome attire many people come attracted to him but not many people can approach him also because of his cool attitude. During the character’s diet training he visits her from time to time, but says only a few words of encouragement. i aimed for him when i first played the game! oh what a fool i was… just to let you guys know ren is the most hardest to get out of all the bachelors such high expectations!  ლಠ益ಠ)ლ

mister emo The #2 guy in school easy to talk to and loves sports. He had a friend who had once betrayed him and he could not trust anyone again. His smiles and laughs prove to be fake. He loves his dog, whom you can normally find going on a walk withl, he is a typical jock and always has a big group of people around him.

Souta Fukami

a year younger than hitomi, Souta takes an instant liking to Hitomi and joins the drama club to be with her. He even liked her when she were like extremely fat. he is one of the only guys that treat you nicely in the beginning of the game. He loves sweets and often invites the character to have some with him at night. He participates in the festival play with the player as the main character and  often saying things like “If you don’t like something about me, tell me, ’cause I’ll change it”. You can meet him at the sports center on random days.  He is the shouta of loverevo if you didn’t realize souta and shouta! get it? they just took away the h!

Kennosuke Tachibana

the badass of the otome game and fourth most popular guy. He is an heir to a Yakuza/gangster family but he has a very different dream from being a Yakuza leader in mind and his dreams are to become a pastry chef. He is known as the cool, or mature guy of the school (a bit like Ichinose). He talks politely and the character can find him at the goods store after a while. He loves basket ball although he claims to have no hobby. Although his attire may seem cold he’s really very shy.

Ayato Kamishiro

always polite and gentlemanly, but it’s hard to get to know him seriously. Another prince type, oh praise the lord and  loves reading. Quite sickly and collapses if too strained. Thought to have anemia.

Ryuutarou Wakatsuki

a pain in the freakin’ ass  the school nurse that you have known since you were a kid. He makes fun of you a lot and is really blunt, but he wants to help you become healthy again.  rather like a student than a doctor. He loves alcohol, cigars and beer. He likes to tease the character and sometimes views her as ‘impossible’ but he helps her anyway. He is also a bachelor although he can’t walk the character home as often as the others. He is always seen with a sky blue pony tail and head phones. and if you notice in all of wakasuki-sensei’s cg there’s a fang sticking out.

Tohru Kinoshima

the weird, fat, otaku childhood friend of hitomi’s. he ate as much as hitomi did and is also overweight now. When the main character announces her lifestyle change, he also decides to get in shape. With his father being a manga artist and his mother a cosplayer, he himself also grew to love anime and manga. Starts off as chubby like the main character but due to her influence decides to start dieting as well. He’s always a bit timid or shy, blushing often when the character or Onii-chan compliments him. He worries about the character on her diet and later he goes to the US coming back slim and as handsome as the others, after not being able to eat the food properly and coincidentally breaking his glasses and switching to lens. i think he’s an uber chubby, creepy otaku man

Kaede Tokita

A mysterious transfer student to hitomi’s class, he acts totally clueless. He is still getting used to new life around campus and is often seen with Yurika. He has long purple hair and wears glasses. He is known to do ikabanna. and is yurika’s bodygaurd.

dating sim game: Harvest moon series~

You play the role of a farmer, given the task of running a farm. As part of this task, you grow and sell crops and raise animals to sell their products (milk for cows, eggs for chickens, etc.). In addition to these goals, you also interact with the villagers, both for commercial purposes (buying seeds, selling products, etc.) and social reasons. Festivals play a key role in the game, giving your character a chance to socialize and meet the neighbors. You even can meet and woo one of the local bachelors or bachelorettes, get married and have a child. You’ll also have the opportunity at one point to discontinue your current game and start over as your child, while keeping any money you made (think of it as inheritance, even though your character doesn’t die). Unfortunately, though, the villagers don’t react to you any differently, and your character sprite is the same. You can even marry your new character’s parent from your previous play-through.

story

In Tree of Tranquility, the plot objective (similar to Magical Melody) is to reawaken the Harvest Goddess. This is performed by helping the Harvest Sprites create rainbows and collecting certain “badges”. Once all the rainbows are created, the Harvest Goddess will reawaken, and the game continues indefinitely (note that after the opening sequences, the plot is mostly fluidly determined by how you play, and therefore there is no overall summary).

The Harvest Goddess’s Mother Tree has been on Waffle Island for years, but it died ten years ago. Some say it was because of old age. Others say that it died because no one cared about it anymore after disrespecting it. After the tragic death, everything turned gloomy. The wind stopped blowing, the sun shined less often, the seas raged violently, people moved away and the once famous rainbows of the island disappeared. The Harvest Goddess went with the tree, and no one heard from her again.

You read about Waffle Island in a brochure, as it was described as a “rancher’s paradise” and decided to start your new farm life there. On the way over you are knocked out by a storm. During the night, you dream about a beautiful lady. You wake up at Sundae Inn, and everything is explained to you, including the history of the Harvest Goddess and the Mother Tree. Mayor Hamilton suspects that the beautiful lady in your dream was the Harvest Goddess. You come to the conclusion that YOU must save the island and restore the town back to its former glory.

Harvest Moon DS Cute (牧場物語コロボックルステーションforガール, Bokujō Monogatari: Korobokkuru Sutēshon for Gāru, lit. Ranch Story: Colobocle Station for Girls) is similar as Harvest Moon: DS.

It is the fourth game that focuses on the female perspective or view. Many glitches and bugs are fixed from Harvest Moon: DS in this remake as well as an added character called Skye and the option to have a female “best friend” instead of a husband (although this was removed from the North America version).

plot

the game starts out with the Harvest Goddess and her Harvest Sprites standing over your bed while you are asleep discussing what to do with you. The Harvest Goddess says she promised your mother that she’d make you work. However, she decides that your character is too lazy, and gives up almost immediately. The Harvest King appears, surprising everyone, and is obviously not pleased with the Harvest Goddess’s decision. They both insult each other, with even the Harvest Sprites joining in, until the Harvest King becomes furious and turns the Goddess to stone. The sprites are angry, and insult the King even more, to which he responds by banishing them. He leaves just as the character wakes up. The Witch Princess appears and informs you that it is your job now to get back the 101 Sprites and rescue the Harvest Goddess.

One day she finally put her foot down and collapsed the tunnel between the towns, cutting them off from each other. Now the only interaction the towns have with each other is at their cooking festival, where their cooking conflict continues four times per season.

As a new farmer, you are eager to start your new life at one of the towns but a freak travel accident makes you to forget what town you originally were going to live in! Listen to each mayor’s story, hear about each town, and then decide where you want to start your new farm life. In this game, your goal is to win your town as many of the cooking competitions as possible. Do this by cooking the best dishes you can from your animal and crops’ produce.

Princess Debut

A girl gets transported to Flower Kingdom, an alternate dimension where she is a princess and the boys from her school are princes. You have 30 days to practice dancing and find a prince to be your partner for the prestigious Ball of Saint-Lyon!

The game has two main aspects: dance lessons and the adventure / story part where you go around and interact with characters. There are lots of different endings and five eligible Princes.

One of this games’s notable features: the illustration was done by Kotori Momoyuki, a manga author whose work is published in the famous shojo manga magazine Nakayoshi.

Story

Princess Debut opens with the player character speaking to a friend of hers. The former laments her boredom and wishes to be whisked away by a prince.

After the two finish their dialogue and the player character arrives home, a strange girl and an even stranger creature burst forth from her closet. When asked about her identity, this girl responds that she is the same person as the player character, but from another world, known as the Flower Kingdom. Further, she explains that she is a princess there and that she will soon be required to dance at the prestigious Ball of Saint-Lyon. However, because the Princess lacks both talent and taste for dancing, she wants the player character to go in her stead.

The player character accepts, and from that point forth the player has 30 days to practice dancing and find a prince to be their partner for the ball.

Depending on where you go in the day and what you say to people, many different things can happen up until the ultimate ball at Saint-Lyons. Depending on which partner you have and how much in love you are (the ‘love is rated on a percentage meter), there are lots of different endings. If you find the prince later you get married but then you have to go home.

Characters

In the opening dialogue, the player character’s friend Catherine suggests that certain boys at the school they attend may be somewhat like princes. Each of these boys is described as having traits that are shared by a prince in the Flower Kingdom.

Victor (Vince) [Kid (キっド kiddo)]: The class clown. He’s always running around playing jokes on people. Catherine points out he’s “just so cute! Somehow, you just can’t hate him.”

Keith (Kiefer): Victor’s polar opposite. He is a cool-mannered, perfect student, frequently seen reading upper-level books. He also scores high in his classes.

Carlos (Cesar) [Charl (シャルル sharuru]: The school’s flirt. He is always found hitting on girls. Your character will mention that he just hit on you the previous day. His pick up line was “Won’t you dance the waltz of love with me?”

Leon (Liam) [Randy (ランディ randi]: A kind and gentle soul, he is considered to be very considerate by his classmates. He is known for taking care of the classroom flowers even though he does not have to. Your character views him “like a big brother you can always count on.”

Kyle (Klaus) [Karu (カル karu): The star athlete. He has many fans, is considered to be cool and very popular. The player character thinks he is out of her league. Her friend reminds her that she has never even tried to speak with him and warns her not to jump to conclusions.

Lucas (Luciano) [Hayato (ハヤト hayato)]: The player character’s childhood friend. She considers him “pretty cute,” but he has a bad sense of direction, to the extent of forgetting his way home. However, he refuses to acknowledge this deficiency. Catherine comments that he is endearing.

Kip [Tap (タップ tappu)]: Assists the Princess in coming to your world and then assists you during your stay in the kingdom.

Tony [Coach (コーチ ko-chi)]: He is your dance partner for the tutorial and is also your dance partner if one of the princes is not your dance partner. Can use magic to turn himself into a gentleman rabbit

Harvest Moon is a farming and romance simulation series by Natsume and one of the rare example of a whole series of games with romance options for girls.

Harvest Moon mostly revolves around taking care of your farm and building relationships, with marriage and even offspring being an option in addition to romance. It’s one of the rare series where you can play through the life after that initial “catch”! The whole marriage-and-kids system differs from game to game and there are usually plenty of guys to choose from. Pictured on the left is the newest DS game in the series, The tale of Two Towns.

Avalon Code

Another game where you can choose to play as a girl and pursue boys (and, in the case of this RPG, elemental spirits).

Tia has been having nightmares about the end of the world. She soon learns she is the chosen one who must record everything in the world using the Book of Prophecy.

This takes her on many adventures, encountering heroes and spirits along the way. You can woo them by talking, giving them presents and (in the case of spirits) using their kind of magic. Being the chosen one, you can change things in the game world by switching “codes”. Some of the guys have a psychological fault that needs to be “fixed” by applying correct codes!

Story

The plot centers on a young peasant who has been plagued with apocalyptic—and, indeed, prophetic—nightmares for weeks prior to the beginning of the story. His or her latest dream, shown in the opening cinematic, features a mysterious voice which reveals not only that the protagonist’s world has undergone countless reincarnations in the past and is fated to continue the cycle of correction, destruction, and rebirth until “true enlightenment” is achieved, but also that the main character him- or herself has been tasked by the Powers-That-Be to deem the people, places, and things of the current world worthy (or unworthy) of being carried over into the next after the fiery purge.

This voice is, in fact, that of a magical sentient record book called the Book of Prophecy. Taking this tome, the newly-appointed Chosen One sets out to find and befriend four guiding elemental Book Spirits who take residence in the Book, throughout the journey learning more about a hidden plot to hasten the imminent apocalypse playing out beneath a shallow political feud with the neighboring kingdom, and about the decisions of the Book of Prophecy’s previous Chosen One.

Atelier Annie: Alchemists of Sera Island

A cross between an RPG and a sim, with some visual novel elements.

Annie is running an alchemist shop, gathering materials and adventuring. She’s trying to become the best at her profession so she can marry a prince.

This game has a girl protagonist and plenty of boys, but there are no dating sim elements (although some characters give the slightest hint of romantic interest in Annie).

Plot

Annie was just a simple girl who lived in a town located within the mainland. However, all she did was sleep and fantasize about becoming rich and famous someday by marrying up. Worried about their daughter, her parents consulted Annie’s grandfather, a great alchemist, for advice on what to do. After a moment of thought, he decides to send her to Sera Island to take part in a large resort project in order to teach her to overcome her laziness. Thus, in the middle of the night, his homunculi steal Annie away to Sera Island; across land, across river, and across sea.

She gets a rude awakening in the form of a fierce whack to the head and Annie wakes up to meet Pepe, a fairy who gives her a letter from her grandfather and tells her that he’ll be the one to instruct her in alchemy, which will be used to facilitate the resort’s construction. A disoriented and confused Annie refuses his request until a mysterious man bursts into the room and drags Annie away to a ceremony celebrating the resort project. Later along in the ceremony, the man introduces himself as Hans, the resort supervisor and in extension, Annie’s superior, and she also discovers that one of the possible rewards to winning the competition will be marriage to the Prince of Orde along with the title of Meister. True to her dream of marrying up, Annie resolves to become a great alchemist and win the competition.

Along the way, she learns the value of hard work as she manages her own shop and the resort attractions, meets new friends, rivals, and comrades, and through the course of three years, she soon begins to forge her own dream through her newfound strength and will.
